Daddy–Daughter Dance
Step into the magic! Our Daddy–Daughter Dance will take place on January 31st from 6:00–8:00 PM in the FCCS Cafeteria for grades K-4. This year’s Enchanted Forest theme will transform the space into a whimsical woodland perfect for making unforgettable memories. Students and their dads (or father figures) are invited to enjoy an evening of music, dancing, crafts, and light refreshments. Tickets are now on sale. Use the button below to register for tickets. Payment is due by the 23rd January.

The audition dates are January 21st, 22nd, and 23rd January, 2026 after dismissal. Additional audition dates may be added depending on the interest. This will be led by the student groups, and supervised by the Social Committee Chair.
If you would like to take part in the Talent Show please fill out a permission form, and turn it into Ms. Myers in the Library.
Holidays Around the World Celebration
We are excited to announce a possible Holidays Around the World Celebration at FCCS! This special event will explore traditions, foods, music, and festivities from cultures near and far. (this year’s version of International Day)

We are looking for participants to:
Share cultural traditions, music, or dances
Present a display about a holiday from around the world
Food Samples from your country or the country you will showcase
Help lead student activities-games/crafts
We also need volunteers to assist with setup, ideas, refreshments, and clean-up.

Living Wax Museum
Living Wax Museum and Spring Art Showcase - Wednesday, April 11 at 5:30pm. Please note the time change. FCCS families and interested community members are invited to come to the school and learn about historical figures from our scholars. Student art will also be on display.
The 'museum' will open at 5:30 and visitors will use the Gymnasium Entrance. Scholars in the first shift can enter through the Student Entrance starting at 5:20.
Join friends for dinner before the Wax Museum at the Route 26 Roy Rogers - mention FCCS from 3 - 6 pm on Wednesday and they will donate 25% back to FCCS!
A suggested donation of a canned or boxed good will be collected for a local area food bank at the gymnasium entrance. Please no glass or expired items.
This is a no homework night for all scholars.
The bookfair will be open after the showcase until 8pm.

Parent Education Night - Special Education in FCPS
FCCS is hosting a Parent Education Night - An Overview of Special Education in FCPS on Monday, April 9 at 6:00pm. A presentation will be followed by a panel of FCPS representatives to discuss a variety of topics related to Special Education and Intervention. This event is open to the public - invite a friend!
