Volunteer Opportunity: Grant Writing Support for FCCS

Deadline to express interest: EOD January 30, 2026

FCCS is seeking 1–2 volunteers to assist the Board of Trustees with grant writing for the Maryland Momentum Charter School Program (CSP) grant—a federally funded initiative supporting the expansion of high-quality public charter schools across Maryland.

The CSP grant is a critical step in FCCS’s continued progress toward securing a permanent facility and expanding opportunities for our students. The application portal opens February 19, 2026 and closes March 31, 2026.

We welcome individuals with experience in grant writing, education or nonprofit work, strong writing skills, and the ability to collaborate on a short-term, time-bound project.

Interested? Please contact the Board of Trustees at bot@frederickclassicalcharterschool.org with a brief summary of relevant experience.
