We know that irregular schedules can be challenging for families, so we are glad to have three full weeks of regular five-day school weeks ahead. Today, our teachers participated in professional learning focused on Effortful Thinking. This week also marked the conclusion of our Fall Grade Level Gatherings. We are grateful to everyone who joined the administrative team to share feedback, learn about volunteer opportunities, and strengthen connections within your grade levels.
Our Food Drive is underway and ends on November 14. You can check out the flyer below for details on what each scholars’ grades can bring to help fill Thanksgivinng Baskets. Families who would like to receive a Thanksgiving Basket can reach out to Mrs. Caldwell (jennifer.caldwell@fcps.org). Also our NJHS is collecting Toys for Tots until December 3rd, and the Giving Tree will go up in a couple of weeks.
Our school thrives because of our incredible community. Thank you for being an essential part of Frederick Classical Charter School! |

Dear Families,
We’ve recently seen an increase in water-damaged books, even though protective book bags are being used. Please remind your child not to place water bottles inside their backpack with school or library books. Even small leaks can cause significant damage. Families are responsible for replacing lost or damaged books, and repeated incidents may result in loss of library privileges.
Help your scholar practice love by caring for books. If a book is lost or damaged, contact: library@frederickclassicalcharterschool.org. Scholars can also enjoy digital books via the Sora Reading App: Sora Reading App
To explore available library titles, visit: FCCS Library Catalog Thank you for supporting a joyful reading community! |
