We had a delightful four-day week at Frederick Classical Charter School. Scholars throughout the school, rested from the three-day weekend, engaged in a variety of activities, including visiting the Earth and Space Science Lab, learning about DNA, exploring least common denominators, and so much more.
Thursday night’s talent show was a fantastic example of the true, the good, and the beautiful, as we witnessed so much talent on display. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our scholars.
It was also exciting to be part of the first Frederick County Joint Charter Information Night. Several staff members, Board of Trustees representatives, and FCCS parents shared the wonderful mission and work we do at Frederick Classical with the greater Frederick community. Finally, many of our middle school scholars are looking forward to tonight’s Valentine’s Dance. It is always a joy to see our scholars having such a great time together.
Looking ahead to next week, we will hold our next PTC meeting on Tuesday evening. You can view the agenda and join us virtually. On Friday, FCCS will have a two-hour early dismissal, with carline beginning at 1:15 p.m. and concluding at 1:45 p.m. Have a great weekend! |

We hope you have been enjoying our series, which brings Classical Principles to life each month. Along with Zeus, the Griffin, our beloved mascot, we explore one core classical principle through stories from both school and home. Our goal is to help families build daily habits and strengthen the school-home connection. This month’s principle is: Optimus Magister Bonus Liber Est – the best teacher is a good book!
Please enjoy, share, and leave us a like or comment. |
