And just like that, we are at the end of 2025. Scholars have been working hard, right up to the break. Scholars finished up their iReady assessments and so much more this week. Join the Special Committee for Governance & Bylaws Updates |
Frederick Classical Charter School Inc. will soon begin a review and update of its bylaws to ensure our governance framework remains clear, stable, and responsive to the school’s long-term needs.
We’re inviting interested members of the FCCS community to serve on the Special Committee on Governance and Bylaws, which is expected to begin work in January 2026. This committee will collaborate with the Board to review sections of the current bylaws, recommend updates, and help strengthen our overall governance structure.
If you have experience or interest in nonprofit governance, policy, or simply want to contribute your perspective, we welcome your participation. Please email express your interest by Friday, January 9, 2026. |

FCCS is participating in Maryland Charter Advocacy Month this February! Staff, families, and scholars can learn about legislative issues affecting charter schools and discover ways to get involved.
